General Objective:
• To understand the workflow for research related to acoustic bird monitoring.
Specific Objectives:
• To create spectrograms and oscillograms using Audacity, R, and RStudio from active recordings.
• To introduce the use of software for semi-automatic bird detection and identification in passive recordings.

• Introduction to acoustic bird monitoring (Passive and active recordings).
• Basic audio editing in Audacity.
• Creation of sound banks (Spectrograms and oscillograms with RStudio).
• Considerations for installing passive recorders.
• Workflow in BirdNet.
• Tools for recording processing (Arbimon, Kaleidoscope).
• Examples of studies with acoustic monitoring.
