• In a context of biodiversity loss, it is key to train agents of change who promote environmental awareness in their communities.

Target audience:
• University students, recent graduates, environmental educators, and people interested in bird conservation through awareness-raising and education in the local community.
Objectives:
• Create a space for sharing experiences and tools to raise awareness among local populations and connect them to the conservation of birds and their habitats.
• Recruit, retain, and inspire volunteers to support bird conservation causes.
Requirements:
• Based on your research in the CPO 2025 and/or prior knowledge, choose a species of bird you would like to work with during the workshop and why.
Topics:
• Practical and real-life cases of community awareness and education for the conservation of birds and their habitats.
• Experiences in volunteering and organizing.
• Participatory dynamics.
